At Lyrics Vault you can find a timeline; to get you a greater knowledge about the history of music in general,
the genealogy of the musical genres, a timeline of music related historical dates, etc.
When you're bored, you can play some games while listening to a Belgian radio station,

To clarify the difference between authorship and transcription, authorship means that someone creates the song and composes the lyric hoping to make a hit wonder. Transcription means that someone listens carefully to a song and writes/types whatever he/she hears, which sometimes may not be correct.
The lyrics you find here are all transcribed, not authored.
This project is done by me, myself and I. That means that I'm constantly struggling with a lack of time.
Since this site is doing so well, a lot of other people want to take advantage
of it and try to joyride by creating other domain names that looks like or sound
like LyricsVault.net!
Others buy other domain names with the same name but a different extention like www.lyricsvault.com, www.lyricsvault.nl, etc
This way of handling is based upon the fact that people have heard about the site but don't recall the correct syntax, lurking the poor visitors to their sites, often trying to get some money out of these unaware visitors.

Since a couple of months now I'm having a lot of trouble with my hoster (for the moment Godaddy). They have put the screws on the site because I'm too popular.
I have no income from the site and because I want to keep the site as clean as possible (most advertisers use ad/spy ware) it is already costing me a lot.
To minimalize the cost, I hosted the website on a shared hosting account, but this enherits ad hoc limitations dicated by the hoster.
It seems that the only way to get rid of those shared hosting limitations is to go to dedicated hosting.
The drawback of dedicated hosting is that it costs a lot of money per month (more than 20 times as much) for the hosting, the use of bandwidth and maintenance of the site.
